Well this book reflects a boy learning a whole knew life style. What makes it even harder is he is all by himself. He has to learn to survive in the woods. He has to prepare for the upcoming winter seoson. He has to hunt and find his own suplies, he cant just go to the store and buy a steak for dunner. So this book reflects a young man learning a knew life style and being on his own in the woods for the entire winter seoson.
