I am America (and So Can You!)
Summary:
In this book Stephen Colbert writes about all of his beliefs that he can't fit on his show, "The Colbert Report". He shares his opinions on the American family, race, religion, relationships, sports, immigration, and many other topics. It is well written and a great read. I highly recommend this book.
Quotes:
"I Am America (and So Can You!)", "If I had a dime for every time I was wrong I'd be broke", "If our founding fathers wanted us to care about the rest of the world they wouldn't have declared our independence from it", "Loolk PETA, if God didn't want us to eat animals he wouldn't have made them so darn tasty!", "All dogs go to Heaven? Sorry, kids. It's only the dogs who've accepted Christ"
Main Points: Stephen Colbert's opinion on relationships, religion, pets, children, marriage, family, race, sports, immigration, and so many other things that I don't have time to type up. One main opinion shown is that this book is law, though most wouldn't agree. The best way to find out if you agree is to read it.
