A walk to remember is about finding love. Landon Carter gets in some trouble with some of his friends. When getting in trouble he has to now attend friday school and has to play the main part in a play. Landon has to learn his lines and he has some troubles with this so then he is forced to ask Jamie Sullivan for some help. Jamie Sullivan is shy and dresses not so cool. She is the last person Landon would ever think he would fall in love with. When they are practicing lines for there play and they are  spending lots of time together Landon falls in love with Jamie. Jamie is the type of girl that didn't want Landon to fall in love with her. But he did. And now she is faced with a problem because she is sick with leukemia. She eventually tells Landon this and he becomes sad and confused. And he tries to save Jamie in anyway he can but he can't do anything about it. But Landon Ends up marrying Jamie and after awhile she dies but Landon plans to live her dreams and the things she wanted to do.
