A book i read was a walk to remember by Nicholas Sparks.

A walk to Remember is about a guy(Landon) who falls in love with a girl that he never in a million years would have even thought about falling in love. The girl he falls in love with was the town's baptists minister's daughter....Jamie. She was shy and really nice to everyone and anyone. She thought that everyone should be forgiven. Jamie wore dresses everyday and carried a bible around with her. Landon did not take school seriously and got in trouble a lot. Landon is in the student counsil and has to find a date to the High School Dance. Every girl he called had said they already had a date...so after school he went over to Jamie's house and asked her if she would go with him. He did not want to be caught at the dance without a date. She said she would go with him....and also said "you have to promise me you won't fall in love with me." He thought she was being sarcastic but she was'nt. Jamie and Landon are both taking drama and he got the main male character and she got the main girl part. Jamie and Landon start practicing together at her house after school. Their relationship begins to develope. Jamie and Landon start going on dates. She suddenly dies from luekimia.    

  I thought the book was really good. It was really really sweet! :)
