I have read 27 Men Out written by Michael Coffey about all of baseball's perfect games. Frome the time book has been published in 2004 Chicago White Sox pitcher Mark Buehrle has thrown a perfect game on July 24th 2009. The book tells the stories about the fifteen other perfect games and the pitcher's who have thrown them. I have really enjoyed reading this book even though it took a very long time going through all of the detail the book has. In 390,396 games in major league history there has only been 16 perfect games which is insane.

The first pitcher who threw a perfect game was "Cy" Young who curently has the unbreakable lifetime career record of 511 wins.
