Vampires, Angles, Dracula, OH MY! Eternal is about exactly that. Vampires, one that might be crazy, a fallen guardian angel with the chance to go back, and the Dracul who dies in the end by the hands of his own daughter. I found Eternal to be thrilling the whole way through. It was hard to put the book down no matter how hard I tried.

Summary

Miranda's life hasn't been all that great. Her mom is pushing her to be star and not so shy. Her parents are divorced and all she's received is a post card from her dad, that wasn't even written by him. Considering how shy she was, it was surprising to Zachary that she was actually going to try out for Romeo and Juliet. Her mom was happy, her best friend, Lucy was happy for her, and Miranda was nervous. Of course when she gets her chance her nerves get the most of her. At first she's completely silent but when she goes on her voice is monotoned.

This story is a lot like Romeo and Juliet. Their love is forbidden. Not because the two sides aren't feuding or anything. It's just that he's a holy being and her 'father' would highly disapprove. Well, it was also forbidden when Miranda was human at first and didn't even know that angel's existed. When Miranda fires Zach, she feels stupid for doing so. Though it proved to be a good idea when Radford came home early and Zach was able to sneak back in to free his prisoners.

Characters

Miranda - She is one of the main people. In the beginning she was a human but was changed during a visit to the cemetery with her best friend Lucy. It was all a mistake but it still happened. She is a sweet and self-conciouse vampire. At first she was a bit snobby but changed when her guardian angel, Zachary, comes into the picture. Soon, she started to second guess everything she did. Even about drinking human blood. When her 'father' leaves she starts drinking animal blood. Miranda is an interesting character. She's one of my favorites. Then again who isn't?

Zachary - He is the other main character. At first he's just a normal Angel watching over his 'girl' aka Miranda. Throughout the book he surprised me. One thing doesn't change though, his feelings for Miranda. It sounds weird but he loved her... A lot. More than he was suppose to. It was normal to love the person you were guarding. You were protecting them after all, so it was only natural for them to love their people. Actually, Zach was the reason why Miranda was turned. He didn't want to see her die, so he showed his true form. Making her notice a dug up grave.Always makes the current Dracul want Miranda instead of Lucy. He gets stripped of his powers from Micheal - the arch angel - and is left to wonder if his girl is still alive. Zach was an amusing character to read about. I love him! xD <-- That's a smiley face

Nora - She is a human cook. Nora was forced into this life because she didn't want Radford - the current Dracul - to hurt her son. She can never leave because of it. There isn't much to tell about her... Though she did play a pretty big role throughout the book. Nora cared for Miranda and Zach, both. After Zach gets fired and comes back she helps him free the humans that were locked up. Nora does everything she can to help no matter what it is.

Harrison - In the beginning he was human, like Miranda, but while Radford is away he drinks another vampires blood. At first Miranda thinks that he just wanted to be turned that badly, which is partly true. He also didn't like Radford and helped out with the battle that happened on Radford's Death Day Gala. He also wanted to ensure that his brother, Freddy, didn't get killed.

Radford - Is the current Dracula. He turned Miranda into a vampire, because he one thought she was important and two he wants a daughter. When he was human he had a daughter, that looked a like Lucy. The whole thing at the cemetery was a mistake. When he's supposedly away, he's really whatching Miranda, waiting for her to make her mistakes, making sure she stays in line and does her duty correctly. In the end it all comes back and kills him, literally. Miranda killed him with his knife and holy water.

Summary

Max has never known her true family. She's grown up her whole life in a place called the School. There scientists  tested on six kids, including Max, giving them wings. One day one of the scientists, Jeb, escaped with them. They were able to live most of their lives in peace. Jeb taught them how to fight and fly. He also helped them to think quickly.

Characters

Max - She's the leader of the flock. She never shows fear and often times makes stupid mistakes. Half the time she has to rely on the flock, she can't do this thing on her own. It can be stressful for one girl. Max is always thinking quick and thinking of the better for the whole flock.
