this book is about a indian kid named arnold spiret but his nickname is junior and he lives in spokan on the indian res. his best friend is named rowdy. well that was his best friend intell junior desided he wanted to get off the reservation and go to a white school after he decided this the inter reservation hated him. 

at the white he made some new friend but there was a group of guys made fun of him and made a mean joke so junior socked him in the face.

after awhile he had friend but he started playing basket ball he is the best on the team but he played his old sckool and during the basket ball game a guy throws a quarter at him and then his friend rowdy punched him.
