"Into The Wild"
Christopher McCandless
Into the Wild was the journal of Christopher MacCandless and the writings of reporters telling his lifes story. Christopher had alot of things going for him and family was good too. He was commited in his works. Like in college instead of getting mixed up in other things he excelled. His apartment was very simple with not much but a clean made bed. He always Said "never take more then you can carry". Although this book deosn't have a happy ending anyone with the right mindset would make something out of waht he did. This book was great! in enjoyed it and im sure other poeple would to. I reccomend this to any reluctent reader.
Christopher McCandless was more then average I guess you could say he excelled academically and was an elite athlete at the Unversity of Emory. He never asked his parents for much, but his parents asked alot out of him when it came to his education. Although no one knows for sure why Christopher disapeared it may have involved his parents firm grip on their expectations of him. Immediatly after graduation chris disapeared. Christopher had given $24,000 dollers to charity and abandoned his car. One of his exact words was "Life is better pennieless". In his disapearence christopher changed his name to Alexanzander Supertramp moved out of his apparment and burned everything in his wallet. By the beggining of August 1990 after his graduation his parents were begining to worry about him, they had been recieving his grades for awile so when they went to Atlanta they seen a FOR RENT sign. Thats when everything came together. They had asked the manager and he said that he had moved out in the end of June. The letters that his parents, Walt and Bilie had sent him. He had been returned in a bundle. Five weeks earlier Christopher who was going under the name Alexander Supertramp now filled up his car with all of his belongings and headed west with no intention of where he was going this was going to be an odyssey. He had ditched Atalanta and was now going to ventured all over including all over California, Oregon, Sierra Nevada, across the Idaho panhandle into Montana, Mexico's border and more.
