     This book is about a sixteen year old black girl who has decided to get into modeling.  she has an alcoholic father named Daniel who works long shifts to keep the family going.  Crystal's mother is Carol and is in her thirties.  She is always encouraging her daughter to keep her job as being a model.  Her best friend dies in a hospital in town and Crystal has to decide to keep her job or quit the movie she will be in for her close friend.

     Forever was a really good book.  It was mainly about a teenage girl named Katherine who meets a boy at one of her friends party's.  They start to hang out more and learn lots about one another.  Kath's parents do not agree with them going out and think they both should have more of a variety of people they hang out with.  When they are seperated for college they promise each other they will be together always no matter what.  Once Kath gets to her Summer Camp she starts to flirt with another guy and feels fustrated because she knows she dosen't want to be with Michael anymore but doesn't know how to tell him.  After her Grandpa passes away she goes to visit her family and friends and later tells Michael how she feels.  He takes it personal and decided they should break up but still be friends.  Kath is happy again and knows she should have listened to her parents.
