The Mist

     This book starts off with a normal family who lives in a quiet little town with not many people and nothing ever really happens, but one night there is a huge storm that destroys most buildings and brings down trees. When people begin to clean up the aftermath they notice a strange very thick mist creeping across the lake towards the town. They think nothing of it until it surrounds people in a shopping mart, then everything goes wrong. Strange monsters lurk outside the secure store eating anyone who dare step outside and even trying to break in. The people are in a huge panic over this sick and twisted game of survival in The Mist.

     I liked this book because it portrayed an unrealistic idea so realistically you feel like you know exactly what would happen if this actually took place. But there are parts of the book that I really did'nt like such as the begginning, it started out really slow and I almost put the book down right then I really didn't like the beggining, but almost everything afterwards gets increasingly intense.
